Winter Trip Yay!!!!

Recently I asked my mom for money to help me to get enough money to buy a a plane ticket back to Texas, and of course she said no. My reasons, I want to go there for my Christmas present and birthday since my birthday lands on New Year's Eve. So I asked my dad and he lend me the money for the remaining funds for my winter trip back to Texas plane ticket. I was so thrill and happy that he said yes and gave me the money, of course I had to hide my excitement because my mom was home so I had to whisper to myself "yay" but in my head and in my mind, I was all like "Fuck Yea!!!!!! I GET TO GO BACK TO TEXAS!!!!" haha. So today, I'm going to the bank to deposit the remaining money and then purchase my plane ticket to Texas.

I'm so excited!!! I know that I'm going to freeze to death. If I thought that being in the high 60's is freezing for me, imagine me being frozen in 20.

Favorite teacher turned bad

So one of my former teacher here at Honolulu Community College, my Administration of Justice for drug and narcotic education, has been arrested again but this time on a level. The first time that he had been indicted was lying to the FBI agents, diverting the Honolulu Police Department (HPD) police officers away from illegal gamble housing and having a female friend (not sure if it was his girlfriend at the time) lying to the FBI agents. This time is having crystal meth in his household in the act of distributing. Which is ironic because he was my drug and narcotic education teacher, teaching how drugs are bad and the degree of the arrest and charge is how much you have, and not how pure it is. No charger, Oh no!!!!

On Wednesday, Nov. 2nd was just like any other day. Bring my laptop to class, "study" on Facebook in class, while taking notes, and class just ended and so routinely, I head down to the library to go on Facebook some more and to charge my laptop. So I go into the library, plug in my charger/adapter and lo and behold, my charger is charging my laptop and it's down 50% battery life. I tried going to a different outlet and same result, my laptop wasn't charging. So instead of going for a third round, I sat in the library, going through Google and Amazon and talking to my boyfriend on where to get an suitable adapter for my laptop. So having about 25-30% battery life left, I bought one on Amazon and shut down my computer. I was so sad about not having my laptop. Not being able to listen to my iTunes or get new songs cause on my desktop, I don't have iTunes on it. All my homework notes were on my laptop. And so on Monday, after school, I checked the mail and my adapter came in. I was rejoiced! Plug it in the outlet and huzzah!!! It works!!!!!!!!!! Now back to my regular routine.

Smurfs' movie review

So I saw the screening of The Smurfs movie in 3d and it wasn't as bad as I expected to me. I knew that it was going to be blue people in the real human world, but honestly, I thought it would be kinda strange to have The Smurfs movie as a cartoonish Final Fantasy look 3d to it look.

It starts out with the Smurf in their village getting ready for a their Blue Moon festival and of course Clumsy smurf is practically destroying the festival, but the other smurfs don't mind. Anyways... Papa, Smurfette, Clumsy, Grouchy, Brainy and Gusty got into the real world where they have to find a way to get back to their mushroom village. Gargamel and his cat Azreal also got into a real world.

I would continue on, but I don't wanna spoil it, so here is my review.

I'm glad that I won the screening to The Smurfs Movie in 3d because I would have never pay for the movie nor get the DVD. However, this movie was actually better then I thought. Neil Patrick Harris, Jayma Mays, Hank Azaria did an excellent job playing the heroes and the villain. Sofia Vergara did an alright job as a supporting actress. Jonathan Winters is an excellent voice actor for Papa Smurf in the movie. Katy Perry is also in the movie and she played Smurfette. As for all the movies that are coming out and is already out for all those 3d hype and crap (don't see the big deal for almost all of the movie to be in 3d, should be exclusive for this movie or that movie and not all), The Smurf Movie, I think is a great movie for it to be in 3d. There are a lot of scenes in the movie where the 3d action came into play and did a really good job on it. Of course, there are a lot of time where you're watching the movie and thinking "Why the hell is this movie is 3d?!"

As for Thumbs up Thumbs down, I give it one thumbs up and about 2 and half stars.

Hey guys!!!

Wow, it's been two years haven't blog? Truth be told, I kinda almost forgotten about this site and went on with my life, and these past 2 years has been a life changing journey for me. One of my best friends became my boyfriend. On my 22nd birthday, I received the best present of them all. He proposed to me. I call it an unofficial engagement cause he did it over the phone and online.

(yes he is one of those online boyfriend, and I don't need your criticism cause I love him and I've seen him).

He laughed and agreed with me. He also sent me a ring for a Valentine's gift (also an engagement ring). I told him don't give me a ring, but he did it anyways and I fell in love with it. We began going steady on Feb. 2oth, 2010 and I was kinda mad that it wasn't on Valentine's day, but oh well, c'est la vie. He made up for it with the ring.

I recently fell in love with two PC games, both from the merry land of Sweden. One game is minecraft made by Notch. If you haven't learn or if you haven't heard about this game, you can just youtube it and search "minecraft" and hundreds of thousands of videos will pop out. My boyfriend introduced me to it, and I was against it, until he showed a video with the username of "Seananners" and he made the game minecraft look fun and interesting, so I got it. And my boyfriend, till this day keeps annoying me with "I told you it'll be fun, but noooo." lol

Second game is Magicka. I first heard about this game from a youtube user BlueXephos from Yogscast and TotalHalibut aka TotalBiscuit. and they made this game look fun. (that and they are two hilarious British people) I told my boyfriend about it and he shrugged it off, until, get this, his friend told him about Magicka. (I TOLD HIM FIRST!!! D= stupid friend). and then he got it as a birthday present. I also got it as a gift from his other friend, and he told him that gift it her as my birthday present. I was so excited and I wanted to play it. I was loading it up, uploading onto my computer, and suddenly, it doesn't work. I was really sad because you need a NVIDIA game card and my laptop doesn't. HOWEVER, my mom's laptop does, so I set it up on her computer, and it was soooo slow. Lagging beyond lags. I un-installed it from her computer and gave it back. SO, my next computer, it must have a NVIDIA game card so I can play future PC games. But by then, my boyfriends and his friends already played though it and beaten the game. ~sigh~ woe is me.
